How to make a screenshot

Click button on the keyboard Print Screen ( sometimes it is called PrtScn, PrtScr or PrtSc) - the clipboard is copied snapshot of the entire screen.

 

     

To take a screenshot of only the active window , press the key combination Alt + PrtScn.
    
Note . In Windows 8, you can press the key combination Win + PrtScn, to quickly take a screenshot of the entire screen and automatically save it in the folder Screenshots in your image library.

    Open any installed graphics editors , eg , «Paint»: Start → Programs → Accessories → Paint.

    
Select the menu item Edit → Paste (Windows XP, Windows Vista) or click the Paste button in the top menu (Windows 7 and above).


    Note . You can also use a universal keyboard shortcut Ctrl + V.

    
Image will be pasted from the clipboard into an image editor.
    
If necessary, add text , or select individual picture elements .

    
Save a screenshot on your computer : File → Save As ; or press.


    Note . Recommend that you save the image files in JPG or PNG - in this case, the file size will be best for mailing. Select the file format when you save the program «Paint» you can type box ( at the bottom of the Save As window ) .
